Snowflake Fair Team
It is time again to consider if the church wants to move forward with plans for the 2020 Snowflake Fair. The main team members are in conversation now. They will also be looking to the congregation for their support at our Annual Meeting on June 7, 2020. The Fair is a huge undertaking and requires the help of all members and friends of GCC. Thanks in advance for whatever you can do for The Fair!
Snowflake Fair Update -January 2019
Thank you to all who helped with the 2018 Snowflake Fair. We are already hard at work dreaming about how to make the 2019 Snowflake Fair even more successful. Here are some ideas we tried in 2018 and plan to use again in 2019:
-Live entertainment in the sanctuary
-Giveaway of reusable bags with GCC logo
-Renting a U-Haul for furniture storage
-Increased use of social media to advertise fair
-Selling frozen chicken pot pies at Country Store table
What new ideas are in store for 2019?
-Increased space for vendors
-More clearly defined walking path from King Street to Fair entrance with upgraded lighting
-Better Wi-Fi for vendors processing credit cards
-Do you have an idea to make the Snowflake Fair better? Please share it!
Were you a Coordinator or Table Chair at the Fair? In the next few weeks (before Annual Meeting) I will be in touch to ask if you are willing to commit to this year’s Snowflake Fair. I hope the answer is “yes”, together we all made a Dream Team.
If you did not help with the Fair last year but are interested in helping this year please let me know, we can always use more members of the Dream Team!
